A marriage of heavenly proportions – 70% Single Malt and 30% Single Pot Still. Triple distilled, matured in American Oak Bourbon barrels, and crafted from a mash bill made entirely of Irish barley. Bottled at 40% ABV.

Writers’ Tears Double Oak is an exclusive Irish whiskey created using two woods and two styles of premium Irish whisey. A blend of Single Pot Still and Single Malt Irish whiskey, aged in two types of wood – American Oak Bourbon Barrels from Kentucky and French Oak Cognac Casks from the Cognac Region in France. It is triple-distilled, non-chill filtered and bottled at 46% ABV. This expression is made possible by a close collaboration between the Walsh family in Ireland’s County Carlow and the Legaret family in Cognac, France.

The Irishman Legacy Single Malt has been created to commemorate the first known record of Irish distillation, which was written in The Red Book of Ossory in 1324 here in Kilkenny. 2024 marks 700 years of an illustrious history of whiskey-making in Ireland and to mark the occasion we have partnered with The Kilkenny Whiskey Guild to create a whiskey worthy of that celebration. The Irishman Legacy is an elegant Irish Single Malt finished in Cháteauneuf-du-Pape barrels from the Cháteau La Nerthe in Avignon. On the nose this gorgeous single malt offers notes of cherry and liquorice, followed by a flavour profile of rich blackberry and a creamy long-lasting finish.

Writers’ Tears is triple distilled, non-peated and matured in Flame Charred American Oak bourbon casks. An award-winning whiskey that has also been included in Ian Buxton’s publication “101 Whiskeys to try before you die”.

Nose: Flashes of apple with hints of vanilla and honey over a distinctively irish pot still base
Palate: Gently spiced with a burst of ginger and butterscotch with background notes of toasted oak.

The Irishman Caribbean Cask Finish is a truly exotic dram! Decadent and tropical, the sweet St Lucian rum cask delivers a spectacular treat for the senses. Tropical fruits and vibrant spices, warm and inviting – this is a marriage of St Lucian character and Irish heritage. Initially matured in American oak bourbon barrels before being finished in Chairman’s Reserve rum casks for an additional 6 months.
